Ridicule

  • The Truth or Dare Club.  It involves a group of girls who change their behavior in order to please the "leader" of their group and the
    unforseen consequences of following her lead rather than their own system of ethics.

    James Clavell's "The Children's Story" and "The Wave". Although not technically dealing with the topic of  peer ridicule, they shed new light on how things can get out of hand.
