If you like a fairy tale interwoven with the Holocaust, then Briar Rose is for you.  This masterpiece of fiction tells the story of Becca, a young woman devoted to her mysterious grandmother and a mystery that needs to be solved in order to unravel the truth.  Becca goes through a series of adventures to figure out the puzzle behind her grandmother's past.   This is an excellent story with a riveting ending.  (Laurie Rutter, LaFayette Junior/Senior High School)
