The real competition is citywide where neighborhoods pull together teams
and compete through March. Dale is cheated from his dream of winning all
city on his neighborhood team. He has practiced all summer all over the
city and knows a gang of other Missourians and overcomes his self-consciousness
and asks for a place on their team. The final chapter is the playoff and
what a game it is! |
