The
plan had been for us to wrestle a block of four from 130-145, but Hatcher
isn’t at 145 and Al didn’t bulk up to 140 as we planned. With Hatcher
at 140, Digit at 130 and both Al and I at 135, I’m the odd man out.
That’s because Al is the one Coach is priming for state. I wind up
warming the bench. It’s not like we planned and I’m the only one
losing. But I don’t like losing. I have to find a way to get
a chance at the state championship. I didn’t work this hard just
to warm the bench my senior year. I know that I have to get past
Al, even if it means losing him as a friend.
