Back
in the 1930s, there weren't many jobs around and people often had to leave
their homes in search of work. On a prairie farm in the far north,
a father has left home to find work. In his absence, he has
asked the family to set an extra place at each meal in case a stranger
was in need. On Christmas eve, a stranger did indeed stop by for
a meal. What he gave the family in return is truly magical. |
