ICE PRINCESS
New York :
IL YA

This book is about a girl named Samantha who loves to skate! One day at a competition she starts to feel sick. Her parents don't want her to compete but Samantha insists. Samantha faints while getting the scores. After that, her parents don't want Samantha to skate any more or to see her partner. They send her away to a private school so she won't be able to skate any more. While she's there, she tries to get expelled and finds a way to see her ex-partner Alex so that they can practice for the championship. Her parents say she can't skate again but Samantha insists that she will never stop. To find out if Samantha will ever skate again, read ICE PRINCESS, the sequel to ICE DANCING. (Sam C., 8th grade student, Rundlett Middle School, Concord, New Hampshire)
