Around the year 1200, two children were born in Assisi in Italy.  They were both born to wealthy families but they both had feelings for the poor of the city.  Clare would take food to the poor.  And Francis would give money and clothing to them.  Together, they worked for the good of the people of Assisi.   Their lives were commited to helping.  This is the story of two people who were later declared saints.
