Eric
really enjoyed his summer visits with his grandmother in Spanish Harlem
(El Barrio). He loved to listen to her tales of growing up in Puerto
Rico as they listened to her old records. Sometimes he danced with
Grandma to her favorite salsa records. Now a grown up Eric shares
his memories with us, how a grandma taught a young boy to know, to feel,
to love his roots. (Jean Bellavance bellavance@erols.com
