Alys
is the brunt of her neighbor's wish to expand his wheelwright shop so she's
framed as a witch and banished from St. Toby's by the Mountain. She meditates
as she stands lashed to the post as to which fate would be worse -- a slow
death torn apart by wolves or a swift death burned by the dragon. She chooses
her fate as she attracts the dragon to her and somehow convinces him to
help her seek revenge on her neighbor and his agent, the priest who proclaimed
her a witch. She takes on the disguise of a young boy and the dragon changes
to a good looking older brother and together they take off to trick the
priest and her neighbor into a fate similar to her own. Set in the middle
ages, this is an adventure that is full of twists and surprises. |
