 This book talks about complications and solutions of the Oakland Athletics. But the story mainly talks about three unique pitchers. One of the pitchers (Tim Hudson) must manage between his family and going across the country to pitch one game out of a three day series. Tim Hudson has been trying to recover from a hip injury. Barry Zito has to manage between playing in his sister’s band and pitching a good game. But what the Oakland’s big three haven’t been able to do is get past the playoffs and get to the World Series. The last World Series they won was in 1989.

This book was a very good book and baseball fans should read this book.  (Steven Bishop, student)
