Viviane Fiedler grew up living in the New York Public Library.  By day her father is the superintendent of the Library, and by night Viviane is allowed to roam the halls, explore the rooms, and read the stories.  At 11, Viviane is ready for her own story to begin, so she sets out to solve the mysteries that the library holds.  These mysteries include the theft of a stamp collection and the existence of a ghost.  She is so excited to share her amazing home with her new friends that she concocts a plan to convince them that the library is haunted, but proving this to her photojournalist friend may be more difficult than she thought.
