someday. But both children have very large road blocks in the way.
Marietta is a girl and in the 16th century, it was unheard of for girls
to become artists. Piero is owned by a ship's captain and a slave
can never become an artist either. For a few short weeks, these two
children come together and dream of what life might be like if they could
fulfill their dreams.
