Have you ever listened to Irish music?  I mean the traditional, magical music played in the pubs and homes throughout Ireland.  Did you know it is magical?  It's true.  Music is the link between the real world and the fairy world.  It's where the two meet.  And few ploddies can travel between the two worlds as easily as the fairies can.  In the ploddy world, time seems to be speeding up.  There isn't enough time for all that needs to be done.  And in the fairy world, there is too much time.  JJ finds his way to the fairy world in order to get some more time for his mother.  But he could never have dreamed what is really going on.  And his role in it.  Fans of Artemis Fowl and books about Irish fairies may just have another favorite novel to choose.
