Two
FBI agents are looking for Jordan Paradise. They've just caused his guardian
to be hit by a car. His parents committed suicide twelve years ago to avoid
torture which they suspected would be their lot for not handing over their
secret for a deadly virus to be added to the germ warfare arsenal. Eric
is the FBI agent who is prepared to kill not only Jordan but the other
four kids he's traveling with. Sweets, the other FBI agent isn't as sure
Jordan needs to be eliminated. After all, he was only two when his parents
left him in the care of his guardian. Sweets has to figure out what to
do about Eric to protect Jordan. The author, Julian Thompson, lives in
Vermont and his descriptions of the country store and woods where Jordan
and his friends go to think are really familiar to New Hampshire campers. |
