Oscar Indigo may not be the most skilled player on his baseball team, but he makes up for it by providing lots of spirit and his signature drink, OscarAde to his teammates. When, one night, Oscar has no choice but to fill in for the team’s all-star player, he uses a mysterious gold watch from his neighbor to stop time for nineteen seconds and win the game. For the first time ever, the East Mt. Etna Wildcats are going to the Slugger League Championships! However, one cannot just stop time and expect nothing to go wrong. Soon, trees begin sprouting tentacles and a second sun appears in the sky, getting closer every day. Can Oscar and his friends figure out a way to give the universe back the nineteen seconds he stole before the second sun collides with the planet? Where did his neighbor get that watch anyway, and where has she been since she gave it to Oscar? If they fix the universe, can the East Mt. Etna Wildcats win the Slugger League Championships without breaking it again?
