Do you know someone in your class who is the target of bullies?  Someone who is always teased, pushed, called names and generally picked on?  Have you ever wondered what their life might be like?  Maybe we should try to put ourselves into their shoes.  In GIVE A BOY A GUN, we follow Gary and Brendan from seventh grade through tenth grade.  They are outsiders.  They aren't accepted by the "in-crowd".  Their daily school life was filled with name calling, pushing, ridicule.  They felt helpless to stop it.  The teachers didn't seem to want to help.  Their parents weren't in a position to put an end to it.  Gary and Brendan just knew that they couldn't go on another two years in school being tortured.  They needed to do something.  Something big.  Could they possibly think that destroying the "in-crowd" kids would serve any purpose?  Can they pull it off?  Should they?  Find out what happens when you GIVE A BOY A GUN.
