Summer camp at Camp Wallumwahpuck is a family tradition for Eleanor. Though her mother is excited for Eleanor to enjoy the camp as much as she did, Eleanor is not so sure about being away from her mom. Things go from bad to worse when she is paired up with a nine-year-old who looks like a seventh grader, can’t figure out how to make her bed, and discovers that the dining hall is candy-free. Will Eleanor learn to love camp, or will she be forced to admit defeat and write a letter in secret code to her parents, begging them to come and pick her up right away?
