The year was 1692.  Two little girls in Salem, Massachusetts began to act strangely.  They would act as if they were afraid of something.  They would fall down in apparent fits.  These little girls had been bored and began playing forbidden games.  When they were found out, they accused others of being witches and causing their behavior.  This was the beginning of a horrible time that is not forgotten.  This was the beginning of the Salem witchcraft trials.  A time when innocent women were accused of being witches and put to death.
SUBJECTS:     Trials (Witchcraft).
