Maya is 20 years old and has lived in Israel all of her life.  She has also served in the army and loves her country very much.  And she also loves her boyfriend.  When he is killed in a suicide bomb attack in a Tel Aviv restaurant, she blames herself for his death and is haunted by the memory of the explosion.  In order to move beyond the tragedy, she moves to the United States and goes to college.  She makes friends and even begins to fall in love again.  But the memory of life in Israel still haunts her.  Can she ever move on and start to live again?
