WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY JUNIOR YEAR?
New York : Putnam, 1986.
IL YA
ISBN 0399213163
This book is about a girl named Steppie Emerson who has set 3 goals for her junior year - making good grades, working on the yearbook staff, and finding a boyfriend. When a boy named Roger Curtis comes into town, everything at school falls neatly into place. She thinks this is going to be the best year ever. She hadn't planned getting a new pool table in her family game room or finding out that her mother became the new local pool shark. Somehow a project called project pool ends up in her basement. Project pool is for delinquents that her mother is helping to run. She eventually leaves Steppie in charge of the project. Rogar isn't too thrilled and well, you can find out the rest.  (Dean, student, Musselman Middle School. Bunker Hill, WV dbjenkin@access.k12.wv.us)
