In an average school year, things go wrong, mistakes are made, and we move on. For Jordan, however, things go wrong ALL THE TIME. His fourth-grade year is a veritable smorgasbord of mistakes, mishaps, and mayhem.

Take for example:

·   Jordan’s fourth-grade teacher hates him. Not just hates him like we think someone might hate us. She truly hates him. Even when Jordan tries to do the right thing, there is no getting through to this woman. Trying to follow her Rules for Successful and Mature Fourth Graders proves to be an impossible task.

·   Jordan’s snake gives birth to a million baby snakes. Not only does Jordan have to keep these snakes alive, he also has to find homes for them all!

·   Jordan is short, but not the shortest kid in the class. This means, he is just average-short, not giving him the street cred of the shortest or the tallest.

·   Jordan’s struggles with asthma are a total bummer, considering breathing is non-negotiable.

All of these things would make for a bad year, but things come to a head with his teacher, forcing Jordan’s parents to move him to a new school. Does Jordan have a chance to redeem himself and his fourth-grade year? Check out The Boy Who Failed Show and Tell to find out! (New Hampshire Great Stone Face Book Award nominee, 2022)
