A follow-up to Sones' What My Mother Doesn't Know, we again meet up with Sophie.  She has risked her social status to date Robin Murphy.  Robin has been a social outcast for years.  He is such a loser that the kids even use his name to talk about a bonehead move.  "You are such a Murphy" is heard when kids mess up.  But now he is dating the hottest girl in school.  And they have decided to go public.  This is told from Robin's perspective.  We see how Sophie's friends turn their backs on her and how lives are changed. Robin knows that he should break up with her so she can be popular again, but he needs her too much.  Is there any possible way for this flawed relationship to last?
