Goy: a non-Jewish person.  Rachel Lowenstein is definitely not one.  But the boy of her dreams, Luke Christiansen, is certainly not Jewish. As a matter of fact, he attends the local Catholic school.  Rachel is afraid her parents won't approve of her dating a non-Jew so she concocts a scheme to date Luke and have her parents believe she is dating a nice Jewish boy.  But Rachel discovers something very strange about her own beliefs along the way.  Told in a funny, first person narrative.
