Quinny and Hopper are an eight year old girl and boy who become good friends over the summer.  Quinny and Hopper couldn’t be more different. Quinny is loud and Hopper is quiet!  They have endless adventures, such as trying to catch Freya, the chicken; climbing trees; and juggling.  But when the summer ends and the new school year begins they find out about the new “Third Grade Rules,” that boys and girls aren’t allowed to be friends anymore.
