In
the swamps of Florida, the Dark Man has a hold on kids who have been offered
at birth to him for milking. What does he get from them? The essence of
youth. As the kids get vacant, the men in town keep their youth. Kelly
Armstrong, who has come back to live with her grandfather, meets Michael,
her grandfathers's lawyer's son. As they get to know each other, they discover
their pasts have a lot in common. Both adopted, both have a natural sense
of getting around in the swamp, both unable to connect with kids their
own age, both see visions of old men when they look into the mirror. Michael
and Kelly work to figure out who is in charge and how to get him out of
control. |
