Ryan, Mary C.
THE VOICE FROM THE MENDELSHONS' MAPLE
New York : Avon, 1985.
IL 3-6
ISBN 0316763608
The Beacon Manor Senior Citizens Residence doesn't sound like an exciting place to investigate excitement, but Penny gets into just that when a voice from Mr. Mendelshon's Maple Tree turns out to be that of a woman resident, perched there almost naked, with no recollection of how she got there. This is a fun read reminding us that senior citizens don't just sleep all day.
