Do you know what a pack rat is?  Well, he is a little rodent that picks up things and keeps them.  Maybe it is a feather.  Or a shiny piece of glass.  Or a sea shell.  Some may think that these things are just junk, but the pack rat collects these things.  Pius, our little pack rat in this book, stores all his treasures in a room he called the Room of Wonders.  Visitors from all over come and marvel at his wonders.  One day, one of the visitors asks Pius about an ugly stone that is in the collection.  It ruins the whole thing.  Can Pius throw away any of his collection?
