This book is a fabulous book, about one girl’s determination to fit in. And find the 3 other children with the same unique situation as she has. The story is about a young girl with the strange ability of telekinesis, and later discovers after her grandmother dies for a fall down the stairs that there may be 3 more children like her. After her grandmother dies Katie goes to move in with her mother and her boyfriend that always smells of cigarettes and booze.
Later on in the story a man named Mr. C moves to the complex where her and her mother lived. Looking at the strange man Katie wonders “is he a cop” “dues he too believe that she killed her grandmother like all her neighbors” “all because she has unusual eyes”.
So now Katie is attempting to prove her incense by finding the 3 other children with her same unusual eyes. So now the question remains. Will she find them? Will they be like her? Will they ever still be alive? And the one thing Katie has loathed for all her like. Will they accept her?  (Tasha-Mae Cummings, Mansfield Highschool Student)
