They decide to become vegetarians in hopes that all the other animals will stop running away from them. Unfortunately salad tastes terrible, and besides their teeth can’t do anything with it. They try disguising themselves which doesn’t work out very well. When the carnivores meet with a wise old owl he advises them that eating meat doesn’t make them bad: it’s just who they are.
