You may not have heard of Pablo Neruda.  But if you were growing up in Chile, you certainly would have.  Neruda is a very well known poet in Chile.  He grew up in a small town near the rainforest and was fascinated with his surroundings.  When he was a teenager, he met Gabriela Mistral who was a Nobel prize winning poet.  Mistral saw the talent in Neruda and encouraged him to write.  This is the story of a poet who relied on his surroundings to create magic.
