baby. Her father dies when his ship sunk at sea recently. She receives a note from a stranger that says (Read some of page 11.) Then she receives another letter from a stranger, asking her to visit him. When she goes to meet him, he gives her a package and tells her that a woman names “Mrs. Holland” is chasing her. He tells her that Mrs. Holland is her enemy and she should run and hide. What should she do when Mrs. Holland approaches her? If you like this book, there is a sequel to it called “Shadow in the North” also by Philip Pullman.
