World Wat II seven year old Malka must flee with her older sister, Minna
and their Mom. Although Malka's mother has nursed many of the Germans back
to health, being a doctor won't protect them now. They must cross the Hungarian
border to escape the Nazi roundups. However, Malka falls ill and must be
left behind with the family that is helping them. She will be brought to
you when she is better assures the family. When the family is in danger
of being discovered, they turn the young girl out to protect themselves.
