Roo is a 12-year old trying to keep it together.  Her drug dealing father has been killed and now Roo is alone.  Sent to live with an uncle she never knew, she is in for adventures big time.  The uncle lives on an isolated island.  Roo begins to explore the island and keeps hearing a humming sound.  When she finally finds the source of the noise, she is shocked to find cousin Phillip.  He is not what Roo expected to find.  This book is inspired by the Secret Garden but stands on its own with a story of  mystery and friendship.
