Poe,  Edgar Allan
TEN GREAT MYSTERIES
New York : Scholastic, 1995.
IL 5-8
ISBN 0590422936
This book had the hair on the back of my neck standing on end. Edgar is truly one of the greatest writers of his time. In The Murders In The Rue Morgue, Edgar finds a friend in the library when he and a fellow are looking for a rare book. Later they become friends and afterword weird killings start to happen at the Rue Morgue. Read to find out who is behind these killings and more in Rue Morgue.

The Tell-Tale Heart is one not for the easy. Edgar finds himself living in an apartment with an elderly man that seems to have a raven's eye. The eye bothers him so badly that he goes insane. Check out The Tell-Talle Heart to find what he does.  (Mason, student, Musselman Middle School. Bunker Hill, WV dbjenkin@access.k12.wv.us)
