Roy's brother has a special way with horses. He can tell by just watching them if they need their shoes adjusted, need a change of diet or just need to be cared for. Roy knows they can't stay in one place for long. Sooner or later someone will find out that Joe took Roy from the foster home without permission. They need to stay one step ahead of the law. When Roy and Joe Dilly begin work at the Bar None ranch, Roy can't believe how wonderful it is to work around such fine horses. He dreams of staying here forever. The owner of the ranch even gives Roy his own pony to break. How will Roy be able to leave his own FIRE PONY?
