THE CAR
New York : Doubleday, 1994.

When I first looked at this book, I saw a kid with a car. Boring and tedious to me. But I was deceived. This book is filled with action and adventure. It tells about the events that occur when a boy tries to manage without his parents. Building a car and going on the biggest journey of his life. On the way, he meets a man with a troubled past. If you want to find out what happens to this adventurous boy and the man with a troubled past, read THE CAR by Gary Paulsen. (Nick T., 8th grade student, Rundlett Middle School, Concord, New Hampshire)
