BUSTER AND THE AMAZING DAISY
Philadelphia : Jessica Kingsley, 2002.

Daisy is being harrassed by a classmate.  And she doesn't understand it.  She and Marissa were friends when they were both in the special education program.  Now that they are mainstreamed, Marissa never missed an opportunity to pick on Daisy.  And she knows all the buttons to push.  Daisy has Asperger Syndrome and ordinary things like loud noises can upset her.  Through caring teachers and support from family, Daisy tries to find her place in her new school.  If you haven't heard of Asperger Syndrome and are curious about what it is, this book does a nice job of explaining it.
