Agnes and best friend Prejean are on their way to science camp.  As almost 7th graders, the girls just feel this will be the best summer camp ever.  What more can they want?  This place is gonna rock!  But things don't start out too great.  Getting on the bus to camp, the girls meet Nyssa Vanderhoven.  "The girl has gray pointy glasses and wears unsummer-y oxfords.  Her hair is chopped off in a way to suggest she snips it herself.  With and axe."  Nyssa gives the girls a hard time about getting cuts in the line.  But it's ok.  There are four weeks of camp ahead of them and it will be great.  At least that is what they think.  When they get to camp, they find out they are in different cabins.  Prejean is bunking with Natalie, another girl from their school.  And Agnes is bunking with ... can you guess??  I knew you could.  None other than annoying Nyssa Vanderhoven!
