No matter how much we love our family sometimes we do not get along the way we should. Shaq and his cousin, Barry, are great friends on and off the basketball court. When Shaq is a ball hog on the basketball court, Barry gets MAD! His anger at Shaq carries over to Nana Ruth’s house where their favorite video game is broken in an argument between them. Shaq’s dad has a solution. Shaq and Barry must work together to earn money to replace the game. But how? Shaq and Barry do not have any money. Can they come up with a plan to make money? Can they learn how to get along and work out their problems?  (annotated by Christine Landis Pennsylvania Young Reader’s Choice Award 2017-2018 )
