If you’re a fan of Rick Riordan with his mix of modern adventure and classic fantasy this book Pegasus The Flame of Olympic is the book for you written by Kate O”Hearn.

Hi my name is Emily call me Em for short. I’m 18 years old and live on an apartment in Manhattan. Everything changed when a Pegasus landed on my roof and monsters came out of nowhere and are attacking the streets of Manhattan. It is up to me, Pegs and my friend Joel to go to Olympus and rescue the gods from certain death. The book is interesting because of the detailed adventure and classic fantasy. It feels like I’m in the book.

I learned that you can’t do anything alone, you have to take risk for those you love and the friends you make and you need to learn to trust those who have done something bad in the past. (Julie Ny, juliejuly161@gmail.com, k-12 student)
