 D.J.'s junior year is off to a good start.  This year she doesn't have to fight for acceptance on the football team.  The boys know what she can do and she is now a valuable player on the team.  Brian Nelson, the quarterback for the rival team, is more than just a friend now.  They've even made out a few times.  But then things begin to go downhill, the farm is losing money and her parents are worried.  D.J. hurts her shoulder and must decide between football and basketball.  But the football team doesn't see it that way.  Her younger brother is sneaking around with a girl and acting very strangely.  And now Winn is hurt in a college football game.  How will D.J. get through this year?
