During
the early part of the 1800s, surgery was not exactly done under modern
conditions. Young Robbie is devastated when his mother dies after
surgery to remove a tumor from her breast. His father is so distraught
that he leaves the family leaving Robbie to take care of his younger sister.
When Robbie gets involved with some shady characters in a deal to deliver
fresh bodies to the doctor who operated on his mother, Robbie begins to
sink deeper into depression. And he begins to wonder where these
bodies are coming from. |
