It
was a note buried within an eleven year old child that changed the life
of the Miniter family. Mike was a frightened child crying out for help.
He wanted three things in life, a family, a fishing pole and a family.
After many treacherous hours of paperwork and grief, the Miniter family
has custody over Mike. But that is not the end, follow ups with counselors
and school meetings for Mike acting out of class are becoming priorities
for them. The family is trying to make Mike’s dream come true,
but it is the fear, anger and heartache of this child that has torn this
family. They have every reason to give up, but they never stop trying,
for the power of love. Is this power of love strong enough to keep this
family together or will Mike's behaviors get him kicked into the streets
again? Find out if Mike will ever have someone to call mom and dad or not
