It's been several years since Daze's mother died.  They say life goes on but it sure it hard.  Daze lives with the pain everyday.  Dad has moved them to a new home and now Daze is in a new school with kids who weren't there when it happened.  She does talk about it though. She tells them all what it was like to watch her mother waste away. What it was like to watch someone die of cancer. But the nightmares continue. She wakes thinking she hears her mother but it is only her father watching videos. Then she hears her mother again from Dad's workroom.  It can't be her mother in there. Could it? Or could it be something even more traumatizing?
