I
didn't run away from home exactly. I just walked away. There's
a difference you know. While my parents were away on vacation, I
simply packed my bag and started putting one foot in front of the other.
I've always loved walking. It's what I do. So, it wasn't unusual
for me to walk across the state after I left home. I spent the nights
camping and the days walking. After several days, I ended up at Happiness
Far. With Wanda -- my aunt. Although my mother would say that
Wanda was rather flighty and irresponsible, I always felt close to her.
So, here I am. Living with the "hip-pies" on the Far. This
is like some kind of a strange commune or something. There are all
sorts of interesting people. But, I'm a walking kind of guy so I
know I won't be here for long. |
