death 6 years ago, nothing seems all that important to him. You might
say he's a bit of a dreamer who can't stick to anything. This year,

The teacher won't let him get off that easily though. He gives Neal
an incomplete and tells him to get the film done by then end of the summer.
Yeah right. Summer. This summer, Neal's mother decides he needs
to try to hold on to a summer job. He's had several summer jobs before
but they don't last. Neal always does something to get fired.
Now, he finds himself working at the OK Construction Company doing the
real grunt work. Determined not to get fired this time, Neal really
tries to do well. It just doens't always turn out the way he wants
though. He's also determined to finish his film for class.
His mother and his longtime girlfriend are on his case about getting serious
about his future. What does he want to do? His girlfriend wants
him to go to business school and become a success. Neal doesn't see
his future that way though. But for now, he's got to finish the film
for school. After a few false starts, he finds his direction.
How does his summer job fit in with his school project? And what
will Neal learn about his elusive past? And his future? |
