Lulu Dark has always hated Nancy Drew and those other goodie goodie girl detectives.  However, things change when her very favorite purse is stolen at the Many Handsomes concert.  It is a fake Kate Spade with a garish, tacky, pink-and-yellow flower pattern and a hot pink strap.  That is why Lulu loves it so much, it is over the top and one of a kind.  Now it is gone.  Not only has she lost her favorite purse, but in it was the phone number for the hunky lead singer of the band Many Handsomes.  She has to find that purse.  Where to start?  Hummmmm, who was at the concert who doesn’t like her?  Well, that’s easy, Rachel and Marisol.  Now that Lulu thinks about it, maybe that is the real reason Rachel spilled iced coffee on her favorite vintage skirt.  It was a distraction to steal the purse.  So, it is off to Rachel’s house to confront her.  But, there is much more going on than meets the eye and things could get very dangerous for Lulu Dark, girl sleuth.  To find out what happens read, Lulu Dark Can See Through Walls. What would you do if one of your classmates, a new foreign exchange student, had suddenly disappeared? In the novel Lulu Dark Can See Through Walls, by Benett Madison, teenager Lulu Dark embarks on a mystery including a drop dead gorgeous rock star, her snooty worst enemies, and a dead "shark girl" in the local bay. The story begins when her best friends Charlie and Daisy accompany Lulu to a local restaurant, where her beloved faux Kate Spade purse gets stolen. More mysterious events occur after this while Lulu tries to fight her instinct to be come the next teen Nancy Drew, but just can't stop finding clues that lead to unraveling this juicy mystery.
      Just when Lulu thinks she's cracked the case, crazy rumors start to spread around town about her, such as hanging out with two scandalous celebrities and dating the lead singer to the Many Handsomes. Her friends soon begin tno lose trust in Lulu, until she thinks she may have the answer to why these false accusations have been spreading throughout the city. Will Lulu ever find her bag? Will she find out who the mysterious dead girl in the bay is?
