Owen's
mom is a children's author. When she moves him from Boston to Vermont to
get married and his stepsister Parsley is so into books that she believes
that she can travel to the characters and take souvenirs from the settings,
he realizes he's in a jam -- he's a tv addict and there's no cable in town.
With no sympathy from anyone, he figures there's nothing to loose in helping
Parsley collect strays to aggravate his mom's allergies and begins to realize
there is something after all to the magic bookmark Parsley uses to get
the pets she's collecting. |
