Imagine Snow White with 7 bumbling
mining drones: Dimwit, Ticktock, Clank and Clunk, Zippy,
Whirligig, and Cusser. Yes, Cusser. Essie works on these
drones daily, "stitching" their code to keep them running
for the frozen mining planet of Thanda where she has been
hiding for 8 years. When Candaran Dane's shuttle crashes
on the planet, she helps him fix the shuttle even cage
fighting for some needed parts but he kidnaps her in hopes
that he can use her as leverage in an ongoing war between
planets. As Essie learns more about what's really going on
with her home-planet, Windsong, she must make an important
decision to either save herself or save the galaxy.
