Robin
is a baker's son. He loves to tell jokes but his brothers never let
him finish telling one. The brothers are very clever with words and
are always making up new ones. Since Robin doesn't, they assume he
is just not too bright. He may even be a moron. When the family
is at the royal castle delivering baked goods, Robin wonders into the garden.
There he meets a young girl who actually listens to his jokes and laughs!
He decides right there and then that this is the girl he would marry someday.
The young girl feels the same way about Robin. Unfortunately for
the two young lovers, it is not meant to be. Robin is a commoner
and the young girl is Princess Lark, the daughter of the King. Through
the years, the two try to see each other but their families want them to
stay apart. Is there any hope for these two? Maybe some magic? |
